Press Release: FullDorm expands its exclusive online community to additional campuses in Boston

Launched last August in beta mode on Bentley University, FullDorm.com has managed to come up with the right formula to connect college students by the more tangible aspects of their lives.  Fulldorm.com is an online marketplace exclusively for college students (faculty too).  Under the premise that “Students have what other students want”, creator and recent college grad, Jeff Weiss, developed a web platform that allows students to easily post and search for products, services and college news that they may find interesting or valuable.

FullDorm offers a multi-faceted platform of features that includes a Classifieds, RideShare, Campus Forum, Clip of the Day, News outlet, off campus rental database and their own group buying feature.  With the exception of local real estate agents and landlords being allowed to post in the off-campus rental section, FullDorm guarantees that all posts on the site are created by users with active “@university.edu” email address.

To maintain the integrity and security of the site, only registered users can post content and access the contact information for each post. FullDorm.com users are an exclusive community of students and faculty across Boston.  By signing up on FullDorm, you’re immediately part of their exclusive online community and no longer have to deal with the potentially unsafe and anonymous interactions with strangers on other sites like Craigslist.

Boasting over 5,000 users with consistent growth in users and additional new features on the way, FullDorm.com has plans to expand to other regional cities in the near future.
