Press Release: FullDorm releases new map based search for off-campus rentals

Today we’re excited to announce the release our new off-campus rentals search interface.  We know you were tired of the old standard way of showing available listings and so were we!  After researching the industry and asking our users what they wanted, we took all of that information to create our new map based search.  We have direct exclusive feeds to the databases of prominent local real estate brokers and landlords giving FullDorm one of the most up to date databases out there.   We want to offer our users the best off-campus rental search experience available so we created The FullDorm Promise.

“The FullDorm Promise- FullDorm is commited to bringing students quality listings exclusively from local reputable brokers. We screen each broker individually before they can post on our site. FullDorm offers a quality service and we don’t accept anything less from our brokers. If at any time our users give us feedback about a legitimatley poor experience they had due to the negligence or unprofessional actions of the broker, we’ll kick them from our site and back to sites like Craigslist or wherever else those brokers like to do business.”

These local agents, management companies and landlords have all been pre-screened by our CEO himself prior to posting their properties.

Simply for using our map to find a place to live off campus, we’ll be sending a $75 check to all of our users who find a place to rent on our map.  There are 4 mindless rules that you need to follow and those can be found on the off-campus page directly underneath the image of the check.

You can find this page by going to FullDorm.com and clicking the off-campus rentals link located in the center of the navigation bar at the top of the page.  There are thousands of apartments available to search for September 1 and beyond.

We’ve all had or heard about bad experiences with local real estate agents so we put our foot down and decided to make a change.  Brokers have too much to lose if they want to screw around with our users.  One legitimately unprofessional or negligent move from them and they’re out of our system!  We hope you have an overall enjoyable experience using our new feature and if you ever come across any site related glitches or issues please don’t hesitate to send us an e-mail to support@fulldorm.com and we’ll do our best to make it right.
